My Monday Meetings

I can't even begin to describe what my home group does for me. I feel bliss take over when I walk into that room. I feel loved. Everyone in group has a unconditional love for me, and I have it for them. 

Meetings

Whether you are the alcoholic, or the one living with the alcoholic(s), you need help! And meetings give you that help. PROGRAM SAVES, and I'm living proof. 

What is program?

There is AA(Alcoholics Anonymous) for people who struggle with the disease of alcoholism.

There is Alanon for the family members of alcoholics. Such as parents, siblings, spouses, or children.

But wouldn't it be awkward for a teenager to be placed in a room full of 40 year old women who's husbands drink?

Yes. So that's where Alateen comes into play. It's the same as alanon, but for children ages 12-19.
